Ecumenical Calling – 2020 Days of Hope
September 18 @ 8:00 am - September 20 @ 5:00 pm
The 6th annual Day of Hope: A Celebration of Prevention and Recovery, will take place on the weekend of September 18 – 20. Sponsored by the West Virginia Council of Churches, the Community Impact Coalition, and by prevention organizations across West Virginia, the Day of Hope is an opportunity for faith and local communities to focus on solution-oriented discussion and activities to reduce substance use disorder in our state.
The theme of the 2020 Day of Hope, “You Can Touch a Life,” focuses on how the opioid crisis has affected children in West Virginia, leading to an increase in the number of children in foster and kinship care. The brochure contains facts and figures, things you can do to help, and resources. A bulletin insert and litany are also available.
To download 2020 Days of Hope resources, including a brochure, litany, and bulletin insert, please go to the West Virginia Council of Churches website, found here.
