District Clergy/Family Picnic @ Hampshire Park, River Road, Romney WV 26757

The District Clergy/Family Picnic is set for Saturday, August 10, 2019, gathering at 12 Noon, Eating at 1:00 PM at Hampshire Park (Shelter 1), 3 miles south of Romney on River Rd., Romney WV 26757 (see more information by clicking on link: https://www.hampshirecountyparks.com/hamphsirepark Our Covered-Dish Picnic will be at 1 pm. (Please note that tableware, meat and drinks will be provided by the District.) Bring your favorite dish and perhaps share the recipe. Also, bring your favorite outdoor games!! Mark your calendars NOW to join in this day of fellowship with other pastors and their families.

Pastors and Mates:  This year at our Annual Clergy/Family Picnic the Ministers’ Mates will be having their annual auction. The proceeds will go toward scholarships for Ministers’ Wives/Mates in our District who would like to attend the Ministers’ Wives/Mates Fellowship at the John XXIII Center in Charleston, WV in September 2019. (Brochures to be handed out the day of the picnic) Mates are asking for all attendees to bring to the picnic new or gently used items, baked or canned items, and homemade crafted items for the auction. Please no closet, garage or basement clearing out stuff!

ACTIVE PASTORS ONLY NOTE: Though we don’t want to mix business with a pleasure-filled day, we do want to remind all pastors that you will be receiving the  2019 Charge Conference Forms by email and they will also be available on the District Website at https://phdumc.org/charge-conference-forms/ – Resources – Charge Conference Forms. PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU START. For those that don’t have the Word and/or Excel programs, we will also have a pdf file of all forms on the District Website which most of you should be able to download; however, they will not be fill-in, but rather you will have to print the forms you need first, then type or fill them in by hand. Since all pastors do have email, there should not be many that may need the forms printed for them, but if you absolutely cannot for some reason download the forms, please contact the District Office ASAP so that we can have your packet with the forms needed ready for you to pick up at the District Office, the district picnic, or at one of the upcoming Clergy/Mates gatherings.
